The Capacity Building Programme for Multilateral Trading Systems (MTS-CaB) has been initiated in 2013. Within this framework, the Centre aims at organising short-term training courses on various technical aspects related to the multilateral trading systems through matching the needs and capacities of the relevant government bodies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member Countries. The Centre analyses these needs and capacities through the responses of the related questionnaires and mobilizes experts across the member countries to perform the needed training programmes.
Multilateral trading systems, without discrimination, encourages to trade through lowering trade barriers. Accordingly, the agreements are formulated to help markets to be more transparent and predictable to attract investors. At the heart of all multilateral trading systems, the goal is to help producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers conduct their business and increase their competitiveness.
