Eng. Hüseyin Hakan Eryetli, Director of IT and Publications, visited the Digital Economy Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and New Technologies of the Kingdom of Morocco

Eng. Hüseyin Hakan Eryetli, Director of IT and Publications of SESRIC visited the Digital Economy Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and New Technologies of the Kingdom of Morocco and had a meeting with Mr. Boubka Siddik Bader, Director of the Digital Economy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and New Technologies on 14 June 2011, in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.

Eng. Eryetli briefed Mr. Bader on the e-Government Initiative conducted by SESRIC since 2009 and invited him to the 1st Meeting of the OIC e-Government Working Group (eGovWG) to be held on 5-6 July 2011, in Ankara, Republic of Turkey. Eng. Eryetli emphasized the importance of knowledge and experience sharing in the field of e-government and e-governance and that this meeting would be an initial step towards this purpose. He also highlighted the importance of public-private partnership during the implementation phase of e-government projects. He stressed that the development of an "OIC e-Government Web Portal" would be very useful for this purpose.

On his part Mr. Bader briefed Eng. Eryetli on the “Digital Morocco 2013” initiative and other activities the department conducts including newly implemented e-Justice and e-Budget systems.
